  • How to title your disc when….?

Posted by Clint Milner on August 29, 2008 at 9:59 am

I have a simple movie that I’ve added Encore chapter markers in Premiere.

All that needs to happen is that the DVD loops and it has a specific title.

In the Export to Encore window in Premiere, I put the specific name in the top text box… and it didn’t work.

The name of the disc is “UNTITLED_PROJECT”

Is there a way to do this, or do I have to select “Author with Menus” and change it when Encore opens up?

    Thanks,
    Clint

I think this is a bug in how the clip gets handed off to Encore. The creation of the “Untitled Project” in En trumps whatever you typed in the box in Pr. Ideally, the new En project would get the same name as what you typed in the box.

AFAIK, choosing to author with menus is the only workaround.

Hi Jeff, I thought that would be the case, and thank you for the reply.
