How to tilt one side of text clip

If by “tilt” you are talking about a 2D “bend” where one end is straight and the other bends down then this can be easily accomplished in the ProTye Titler by creating text on a path and bending the path. You do this by using the Path option on the Layout tab in ProType Titler. Double-clicking on the path will create a new point to manipulate. The default path has two points, you will need a third at the point where it transitions from straight to bend so it looks something like this:

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I’m not sure if you made the screenshot just for me but if you did you are my hero. Actually, you are my hero either way. 🙂

I was able to get the text to bend but I was wondering if there was a way to key frame the path so it starts straight and then bends after a few seconds?
Whenever I select path it changes the path for the entire duration.

Yup, I made that one just for you (the pixels were still wet when I uploaded it) 😉

Unfortunately, there is no way to keyframe the path. You can keyframe the text position on the path but not the path itself. That means the text would have to move along the path in order to bend. (not what you want… i know).

You’re welcome. You would need something like Boris Graffiti or After Effects to do what you want.
