  • how to texture each side of a plane

I have a simple plane object and i can’t seem to figure out how to place one texture on the front side, and place a different texture on the back side.
every time i throw a texture on it, it projects on both sides of the plane. I set the “side” to front….but nothing changes. i’ve tried all the “projection” options, but still i always get texture projected on both sides.

    thanks,

on a plane it should not make much difference (to visibility) what mapping you use. Just put the two textures on the plane set one to Front side the other to Back. You won’t see anything but the top (right-most) texture unless you render though or have Enhanced OpenGL on.
