how to synch audio with video during velocity altering
pretty much yea, when you alter the velocity of the video how can you make sure the audio will remain in complete, is it possible to have audio mirror video in regards to velocity in the least amount of steps. time stretching to match the percent of the velocity altered i suppose is one way but thats two steps is it possible to do it in one automated step, please and thanks in advance.
akshav, i just want to say how invaluble this site is for me as a person who’s been screwing around on a 2000 casablanca avio, using vegas is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo liberating. thanks again and sorry for the syrupy drek but i’t true, i love vegas

There is no velocity envelope for audio. If you don’t mind a SINGLE speed change, try using the CTRL-Resize method. This will also stretch or shrink the audio the same as the video.

i appreciate the response, however i’m at a total loss understanding what you mean, i tried time stretching but that isn’t working, it seems to me that this is a basic feature being able to have the audio automatically match the altered video. you see this effect done quite a bit usually for humour.
could you please explain this CTL feature

Hold down the CTRL key. Resize the clip larger or smaller. This will stretch or shrink the clip changing it’s speed instead of changing the end-point because you’re holding down the CTRL key. That is really the easiest way to slow down or speed up audio + video equally.
