How to stop a character from a walk or run cycle?
First, Hello everyone, I’m new here:)
I’m recently learning a lot about character animation in AE, walk cycles, run cycles, poses, lip syncs, face expressions, and all of that..
But no one is teaching how to stop a walk cycle loop or start one.
and I’m trying for a while, but it looks weird and not natural.
Wonder if there’s a way or some tips for that.

Not sure what you are using for the walk cycles.
Keyframes?
A cheap trick would be to split the layer at the post you desire and remove the cycle.
Sorry not sure what steps you are taking to achieve the walk cycle.
