how to start effects in middle of clip
Hello
First of all thanks very much for all the info you all gave me under my tracking post earlier…that smooth running gun is fantastic and within minutes even a novice such as myself was able to track.
Now my only problem is how do you track if you want to have the effects appear and track in the middle of a shot instead of the start. I have tried and tried but the tracker always starts at the first frame no matter what settings I use in smooth running gun.

Just let it track from the start, but set the emitter’s “active” property to start at the frame you want in particleIllusion.
