Hi, Im working on a film that is split to pieces from one single file using the scene cut detection. After some color correcting I realised I forgot to split one part og the file. It should be one more clip on timeline. Is there an easy way to just make an “add edit” / cut the file, or do I need to put whole file into the scene cut detection one more time?

sorry for being short. try page 115 in the manual.

“in Source mode the Conform page enables you to perform simple editorial functions that are useful for making the small alterations that grading sometimes requires, such as replacing media, splitting clips, adding transitions, or changing the composite modes of superimposed clips.”

You can use the Split/Join function on the master session. I’m assuming you are just using the master session and not other timelines.

    On the color page:

    Split – shift + J
    Join – J
