Hi, I came to know of PI3 while searching for effect tutorial from youtube. I downloaded the trial copy in hope to make an effect like the image that is attach below.

I have been playing around for many days but I couldn’t figure how it was done. I have been thinking if the background is “black” I could use some black layer to cover and slide it down..

Could someone shed a light on how this effect is done? I wish to do this kind of effect in a colorful background. I have have been pulling my hairs trying to figure how to make an object slowing appear with an effect as show in picture.

I am a freelance graphic designer. I am sure PI would add more bread and butter to my job in the future 🙂

PS: I tried to upload to creativecow but the gif picture won’t load. I have uploaded to my site, pls have a look:

If I remember correctly, Elvis Deane did a nice tutorial on this type of effect. In your case, once you have created this in ParticIllusion and have exported it, I think you are supposed to use your NLE of choice and reverse the video so it looks like the item is appearing instead of disappearing.

    The tutorial is here: https://www.creativecow.net/articles/deane_elvis/logoExplode/index.html

Remember to access the Support link tab under Wondertouch and access the Links section.

    good luck
