How to Simulate workinf of SAN in college lab?

I have taken SAN as my college project..
Plz tell me what are the things needed me to simulate in lab.. what are the devices needed??.. I just want to demonstrate basic SAN working method in lab by simulation… plz… waiting fr ur valuable advic… -

you say that you want to “simulate” SAN in your college lab. This is a simple computer network. If you have two computers, and a server, and you can transfer files from the server to each of the 2 computers, you are simulating a SAN. I am sure that you have a computer department at your school, and I am sure that you have IT computer professionals employed by your school. You need to ask them for assistance in setting up a very simple network between a server and 2 “client” computers, which would be the edit stations.
If you do not need real SAN performance, and just want to play back small DV video files, one computer at a time to “simulate” a SAN, this will work perfectly.
This forum cannot teach you how to network computers together. That is what your University is for. To teach you computer networking.
