  • How to shorten VEGAS PRO 10 timeline ?

Posted by Ron Wolpa on March 27, 2011 at 5:42 pm

Recently I moved away from Pinnacle Studio 12 to Sony Vegas PRO 10. I´ve picked my brains to learn how to shorten time on timeline.

I fill the timeline with events to create my movie then render it to find that at the very end still remains some undesirable time which is shown as black footage.

With Pinnacle Studio I have total command over the time on timeline.
Is there a way to have control over this ?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Go to the very end of your Vegas timeline and see if there’s anything there that isn’t supposed to be there.
If there is, just delete it.

You can also set your loop points to contain only the video you want rendered, and check render looped region only on the render as window.
