  • How to set a “transition” default setting

    Ok, it’s nothing

but I like to know how to do it !

If for exemple I want a “Blur” transitions 30 times in my sequence…

    for 20 second
    with -1 ease in
    .65 ease out
    87 A blur
    19 B Blur…

do I always need to set the details in the viewer every times I use a transition or I could ask FCP 4.5 to remember my setting?

It’s the same for the “Mate Generator” (down right of the viewer)
THE DEFAULT COLOR IS ALWAYS GREY, i have’nt found anything else to change that seting and every days..I’m looking for white or black or blue…

So If one of you have an idea
That could help me a lot

    tank you

    L’

Set up the details for the effect in the Viewer, then drag the effect into your favorites. To set as default, control-click the effect and set it as default.

Once you set it you can take the one you set and drag it into a bin.

It won’t be a default setting but it’ll be readily at hand.
