  • How-to save/export .vpr Transcode settings?

Posted by Mopudding on September 14, 2005 at 8:19 pm

I’ve specified various custom parameters for exporting and compressing my final video, but now I’m wondering how I can save these settings in a .vpr file to share with a friend?

I know Premiere saves my settings, but I can’t find the .vpr file anywhere on my drives.

    thanks for the help,
    chris.

    I have a ton of .vpr files in C;\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere Pro 1.5\MediaIO\Presets\System

I have all those .vpr files in the same folder too. But none of them are my custom settings which I save in Premiere.

I’ve searched all my drives for *.vpr files and only turn up the preset ones found in the premiere system folder.

Any idea where those custom files might be?

they are in your documents and settings folder but you have to turn on hidden files and folders in order to find them. I sure hope that Adobe changes this in future releases so we can share these settings easily. Like give us an option as to where to save these when you save them.
