How to save glass objects to png?
Posted by Dlwoad Forjnig on February 27, 2017 at 12:25 amIt renders well, but saves much more transparent. Is it some feature of cinema 4d?
Thank you.Brian Jones replied 9 years, 5 months ago 2 Members · 3 Replies -

February 28, 2017 at 3:02 pmNot enough info (or a file to check) so I have to guess it’s because you have Alpha turned on and it’s showing you the transparency plus alpha when saved. If that’s not it we’d have to see more info.

February 28, 2017 at 8:58 pmC4D doesn’t show you alpha in the render so you see what it should look like on the background in C4D but when exporting to another program for compositing alpha is used with transparency because it gives the proper look when you place the render on a different back ground. With only transparency it looks wrong.
So if you are going to composite this keep the alpha but if not then don’t use it because you don’t really need it.
