  • How to resume rendering?

Was running out of room on a drive and FCPX offered to stop rendering. I said ‘OK’.

Now, for the life of me, I can’t find where to make it resume! I’ve quit and restarted FCPX without luck. I’ve search the Help file but can find no joy.

The prefs in the “playback” section set the preference, or hit command-control-r to start manually

Thank you for replying but no joy. You were close though, and your answer prompted me to remember a keyboard shortcuts page online where I found that it was shift-control-r to resume rendering (the preferences for Playback were correct. Go figure). So, I did solve my problem thanks to you.

    [Don Smith] “shift-control-r “

Woops, that’s what I meant. Doh!

If you forget the shortcut, you can always click on the background process button (the circle to the left of the TC window). You should be able to resume in there.
