    The scale of your comp (i.e frame size) at any one time is determined by the background image. In that sense Fusion is completely unlike Ae.

    Without seeing more of your flow I can’t say what’s gone wrong here, but that is the answer to your question.

    Maybe post your composition here so we can advise more specifically?

    Yes, I saw the framegrab, thanks.

    Without knowing the frame sizes of your background and your foreground images and your desired output image I can’t be more precise.

    From what I can see your background image is 1024×520, is that right?

    What is the frame size of your foreground image?

    What is the frame size or your final output?

    Oh, and what are you doing with your transform?

    You will find it a lot less confusing if you use the transform options on the Merge node.
