    I was watching the Tutorial on creating the orb effect and I was doing everything right up until he said resize the height and width then the value thing popped up and I have no idea how to resize the orb particle [height and width] can anyone tell me how to?

    Select “height” in the hierarchy then change the value in the graph window by clicking and dragging the data point. Same for “Width”.

    You can also hit “N” to bring up the numeric entry box.

    wow, thanks a lot that was a great help!

    i have another question if you could help me, when saving the output, there is a horizontal black line that indicates how much particle illusion will save, do you know how to take that off or make it longer?

    ————- horizontal line (like the horizon)

    I assume you mean the black vertical line in the graph. It’s set by the “end frame” edit box in the playback toolbar.
