how to resize comp from 1080 25 fps to 720 29.97 fps
hey all im new here but wont be a stranger thats 4 sure anyways, im pretty new to ae cs4 but been using premiere since 5.0. i purchased some pre made projects this is what they claim
(no issues with the resizing of projects, they come in HD1080 as standard but just resize your comp to whatever you need, HD720 PAL or NTSC – it’s that easy.)thats from https://www.planetaep.com/
ok i mADE some pretty cool stuff but cant use it after i render out plays choppy plz help the newbie

How are you outputting your file? Often AE outputs uncompressed lossless video that has a bitrate too high for normal hard drive. To handle. Take you rendered file into Premiere and see what it does. I’ll bet you’ll be able to play it there. AE should not be used to encode your final file. Use Adobe Media Encoder to take the uncompressed and lossless file and render it into the type of final output your client needs.

I see 3 options for framerate
1. 25 to interpret 4% as 23.976 then 3:2 pulldown to 29.97
2. timewarp or twixtor interpolation or even frame blending
3. interpret as 29.97 and speed is far different.

By the way, there is a Cow tutorial by our trainer Lori Freitag that teaches you how to convert frame rates using Twixtor. And then you can resize after you retime (that’s how I would work… I wouldn’t resize before retiming, because you have the original info before resizing).
