I got Cinema 4D r15 and these are my specs.
    Processor: i7-4770k
    RAM: 32GB
    Motherboard: Asus Rampage VI: Hero
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 780 Ti

I’ve just installed my graphics card and was wondering, wouldn’t I be able to render much faster with it as well? What kind of settings do I set in preferences and render settings?

Does C4D support Cuda Core rendering?

I really want to get the best rendering out of my PC specs. Also, would I benefit if overclocking?

Your render time will be limited to you CPU clock speed.

AFAIK the GPU within C4d will only influence on your viewport preview and menus.

Overclocking your CPU will decrease render times.

a couple more things to consider – render speed is greatly enhanced by having more processors in the cpu – your i7 will have hyper threading so that will help by making each core act as two but 12 cores is much quicker.
    – there are three (that I know of) render engines for C4D that support GPU rendering iRay, Indigo, and Octane. There have been other threads about those you might want to search for.
