How to render edited videos in Sony vegas
Hello,
I’m trying to replace a video’s(.AVI) audio in Sony vegas movie studio 9(Platinum).
I know how to delete the original audio track and replace it with the one i want to use, but the problem is how to save that video, so as to maintain that video’s quality, Or save it as the best quality possible.Please help

What kind of avi file (which codec) is your footage?

The audio codec is – 0x0055 MPEG-1 Layer 3
and video – XVID, name – Xvid 1.2 SMP.
I’m not really sure that this is what you wanted to know.
The video is short movie.

Are you asking which are the best render options to keep your video quality with the new sound?
In case I´m right: Which is your resolution, or video size? (ej:1280#720, etc.)
Try .wmv format, with the different settings. I would go with 3mbps because it doesn´t turn up into such a big file as the HD rendering settings.
.mp4 darkens the video.
.avi makes an extremely big file.Hopefully this is of any help to you. Try with the different setting and choose the one you like the most. Remember, the more times you render the same video, the worst the quality will be (because each time you render, there is an small quality-decrease).
