How to remove black border/frame from keyed layer

No idea what you mean by that last part.
Black edges around a keyed source are usually simply alpha interpretation settings for the layer. Change yours.
did you prerender the greenscreen key? Nest it?

Draw a bezier mask around the shot to remove the black areas. It’s called a garbage matte in old-school compositing terms.
