How to re-import HD-digital media directly into an edited timeline?
Hello M-100 support group,
I am working with M-100 version: 2.1.8I need to up-date a project originally edited in “Media-100 Producer”. I have opened/up-dated the legacy project with M-100 2.1.8, but when I tried to re-import so as to re-place the old media with HD-media, the dialog box seems to indicate that you can only re-digitize from a video-tape source.
However, the media files where originally imported from digital files on a hard drive.
Is there a way to point M-100 to the hard drive and import the original HD-media directly into an edited timeline?

As mentioned on the Facebook Group, Floh’s post here: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/4/867306#867307 seems to work, if you’re comfortable editing an XML file in a text editor, and changing the pathurl that point to the files.
