  • How to ramp frame rate from 24p to 60p?

I can’t figure this out. I have CS 5.5. I have some 720p footage shot at 60 frames. The project is 24p. I’d like to have the first 2 seconds play at real time (from the 60p) then ramp to slow mo at 24p. Maybe a second or a second and a half ramp. I know how to conform frame rates, but how can I create a smooth transition within the same clip?

Should I do this in After Effects instead?

Are there any plug-ins that can do this easier?

I’m trying to do that well known shot of someone running to catch something before it its the ground, and as they leap we smoothly ramp to slow motion.

    Thanks

    Max
