I am a FCP user and this is an odd question so I knew someone here would have either a great answer or funny one so be gentle for now. I rented space in an old closed down movie house here in my hometown. I am teaching a movie making class to little kids. It has a 107 seats and the screen is in great condition! My question is once I shoot the little digital short and cut it up for the kids I want the parents to come to the theater and watch the digital short. It does not have to fit the entire screen of course but big enough to view. Does anyone have a clue as to how I would be able to project it on the screen? Quality is not a huge issue here. Thanks!
    Mike

It seems very unlikely they’ve left any projection equipment in an old closed down movie theatre so you’ll need to borrow or rent a projector and connect that to something like a laptop or portable DVD player.

It sounds much like you’re doing this as a Good Samaritan type deal for the kids so you might ask the group of appreciative parents if any of them have access to a projector (like those used for {PowerPoint presentations) and pick the best one offered since they’re obviously not designed for theatre-size screens or circumstances.

    That’s all I got … I hope its heplful.
