  how to preview super black ( -10 – 0 ire) mattes

  From what I can tell, while Final Cut will work with alphas and superblack, it doesn’t like to do any other work outside of 0-100 ire. Is there a workaround for this? I am using 6.0.5, 10.5.6, QT 7.6 and blackmagic HD dual link and various blackmagic plugins. This seems to be the case in systems with and without hardware. I seek wiser council here…
