How to prevent FCP X to automatically create the “Motion Templates” folder?
Hello. I regularly use Final Cut Pro X. I have version 10.2.3 installed and OS version 10.12 (macOS Sierra) installed on my Macbook. I don’t use Apple Motion and I don’t have it installed on my Mac.
Every time I open FCP, it seems like the software automatically creates a new folder called “Motion Templates” – which is empty – in User>Movies. I delete the folder, but when I close FCP and open it again it recreates the same folder.
Is there a permanent way to prevent FCP to create the folder inside my Movies folder? -

Sorry it is required for FCPX to function properly even if you don’t have Motion.
