I’m animating a character’s tongue using joints (I’m new to joints, so pardon me if this is a really obvious solution). I followed a tutorial for creating a joint chain and binding it to the tongue object. However, when I move a joint, it uproots the entire tongue so that it leaves the character’s mouth. I know there’s a way to pin down geometry using the cloth tag, but in this case it’s not supposed to be cloth; I just want a way of pinning down the tongue so it stays inside the mouth when I animate the joint chain. Does anyone know of any solutions?

    Thanks
