How to move all used files in a project to a specific location.
Hi!
Quick and painless:
I’m working on a schoolproject. Got iMacs. But I have all my soundeffects on a external harddrive that I’ve taken from my home. So, I can’t edit the movie without having the harddrive connected. So I wounder, is there any easy way to just press “Copy files the scratch-disk/another location”.
In another way, a function to make Final Cut move/copy all my used files to a specific location? -

If only Final Cut Pro had some sort of Media Manager…

That’s easy.
Select your Sequence.
File > Media Manager.
Tell it to Copy all your media and select the destination.
FCP will copy every element that’s in your final Sequence.
If you want to copy the entire project, then just select your Browser and Media Manage. Again Copy.
This will copy everything in your entire project to the selected destination.
Pretty simple actually.
