What is the best way to do dynamic masks on moving video in MCA 2.2. We have BCC (obviously) and Sapphire V2.

I know in Boris Continuum, many of the effects let you create a mask, but none of them allow for bezier curves AFAIK. That is the one advantage of Animatte — but I need more flexibility in being able to manipulate the masked layer than Animatte allows.

    Thanks for any advice.

If animatte doesn’t offer the flexiblity, I would move outside of Avid and create the mattes in AE.

I need to stay in the Avid environment — After Effects is unavailable for this. Anyone else?

The new version of BCC {4.0) allows you to do bezier curves with the pixel chooser.
