Hi, how do I set shortcuts to go to the next/previous cut? I do this all the time in Premiere (Up/Down). I can’t find it in the keyboard mappings.

OK, so according to logic keyboards cheatsheet for resolve 17 (https://logickeyboard.com/shortcut/RES162019.pdf) there is a ‘Next Clip / Edit’ command but doing a search under ‘All commands’ for ‘Next Clip’ or ‘Next Edit’ returns nothing. WTF is going on. I really want to give Resolve a go for this edit but it looks like Resolve does not want me too 🙁

The up down arrows on my keyboard take me to previous/next events. It is the default if you are set to the Resolve keyboard. In Resolve you can also set that to go to next fade start/ end as well as clip boundary. Open up the Keyboard Customisation and click on those keys. It will take you to the description of what each key does. You can setup any sort of customisation.
If you get hung up on what names Resolve uses, at least they have much more in common with Pr than FCPX. Resolve has a category of ‘Next’ which includes ‘Clip’, ‘Gap’, ‘Keyframe’ and ‘Marker’. They are subsets of ‘Next’ so the words you need are actually all there.

OK, yes it works in Resolve keyboard mapping but I can work out how to map this in PP mappings. I have to use PP with some of the companies I work for so want to get the PP mappings working in Rsolve. I did get some help with this elsware and worked out the Commands I need are now called Next Clip and Previous Clip. They are mapped in Revolve Mappings but not in PP Mappings and I cant find them…
I am in keyboard customisation.
On the right bottom Commands panel, I select All commands.
Right of Commands, I select Show all in the drop-down right of that.
I type ‘Next Clip’ and ‘Previous Cilp’ in the text field right of that.
I get nothing returned for either in the panel below.
I am looking in the DaVinci Resolve keyboard shortcuts.
However, if I click on the Up and Down arrows in the keyboard above in the Active Key panel I get Clip shown under Commands against Application.
It works fine under the Resolve keyboard shortcut but I can’t find the mapping/how to get this to happen under P keyboard mapping.
So my question is how to map Next Clip/Previous Clip to Up/Down in PP keyboard mappings.
My brain hurts!
