  • How to make WM9 Hi Def Movie from HDV footage in Premiere Pro 1.5?

Is there a way using Adobe’s Media Encoder to make a High Def WM9 Movie from HDV Footage. I’ve tried the presets but it always says Audio upmixing not allowed whatever that means. I’m not mixing any audio. It makes no difference whether I’m working with multiple clips I’ve made into a movie or just a single HDV clip without any editing – in both cases I haven’t been able to find a way to encode/save it as a WM9 file.

My objective is to merely turn these huge filesize HDV clips into a smaller filesize movie for viewing on Windows XP computers – Is there any way to do this? Thanks

    Andy,

The preset you are using is set for 5.1 surround sound. You probably have a stereo sequence. Change the preset for the audio to get to a stereo output.

I am facing the same predicament – so, how do you output a WM9 file from Pro 1.5?
