    in after effects how do i make this video full screen so when videos its fully covered the video rather then having 2 black corners like a letterbox sidewards.

    You have a few options.

    1) Scale the video proportionately to fill the width of the frame. Parts of the top/bottom will be cut off. Select the video layer and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+G.

    2) Fit the video to the frame disproportionately. Everything will be on-screen, but the image will be distorted to make it fit. Select the video layer and press Ctrl+Alt+F.

    3) Use my non-linear stretch project, which fills the frame by stretching the left/right edges of a 4:3 frame a lot more than the middle: https://www.keenlive.com/renderbreak/2013/06/non-linear-stretch-43-to-169-in-after-effects/
