    Like the title says.

I find myself in need of erasing a lot of hard drive space to make room for new things. I need to put several iterations of a half-finished Motion 4 project, and all the assets, into a “lifeboat” before we wipe the drives. I really can’t afford to lose this one and build it again from scratch.

Best practices? Things to watch out for?

If I I always save the project with the “copy all assets” box checked, am I safe?

When you do a Save As, you have the option to bundle all the assets used with the project file.
