    hey,

can anyone point me towards the setting for this? i must be blind or not understanding things properly. i’ve tried spin and the settings in turbulence field but i can’t seem to find a combination of settings that will allow my particles to fall from top to bottom in a spiral motion. spiral as in z-space, not x/y. ie, closer/further/closer/further/closer/etc.

Use the Wind properties, and not Turbulence or Spin. By keyframing The Wind X and Wind Z you can get a spiraling motion.
