    Hi

I have recently created a min video, using Adobe Premiere Pro 2.

It looks decently clear when i see it on the converted .avi video clip file,
however when i uploaded my video on youtube, the video looks very blurry and unclear. Pls
refer to the youtube clip, below:-

Please tell me how to i make my 4min 20 second video file clear on youtube?

I used the Adobe Media Encoder to export it into a video file and my video settings are

    currently:

    format: windows media
    video: 320×240, 30 [fps]
video codec: windows media video 9
    Encoding Passes: One
    Bitrate Mode: Constant
    Frame width: 320 pixels
    frame height: 240 pixels
    frame rate [ fps] 30
pixel aspect ratio: square pixels (1.0)

pls advise me on what settings to change in order to make my video clearer on youtube?
is it the frames per second or output frame size???

    Remember GIGO –

    1. Dont use Premiere to encode – I use QuickTime Pro – only $30
Use Premiere to make an avi file – then QT Pro to change to mov.
    2. Send them a 640×480 mov h.264 30fps HQ file.
    3. If your file is too large use there special uploader – you can upload files up to 1 GB.
    3. Give them some time to work with the files.
    4. Add &fmt=18 to the end of your file’s URL – this tells them to play the high quality version – it makes a big difference.

h264 – 1 megabit per second 320×240. This is a preset in CS3, I have tried larger frame sizes but that seems not to make any difference except longer to upload. I did find wmv to be less than stellar. See CanadaArtChannel YouTube channel, recent clips for examples. The Odjig clip was done using the CS3 preset, the other recent ones were done by hand Joe Fafrad was done at 3 mbps. ( I had not discovered the preset then) McMichael art goes to Washington was done at 480×360 in QuickTime Sorensen. Compare the tenabe clip at canadaartchannel with the tenabe clip at the BeachDigital channel. the BeachDigital channel used 512 kbps wmv, the canadaartchannel clip used Sorensen. The Jeff Thomas clip on BeachDigital also used wmv.

The wmv were all 15 fps. The others are 30 fps.

Unrelated to encoding, putting the camera on a tripod would help as otherwise a lot of bandwidth is wasted encoding the minute
    background motion.

No more 640×480 clips on line. Sorry.
