How to make Luminance Selection in PS vCC?
Hello, once again what worked for decades now has no effect in Photoshop CC: Luminance Selection shortcuts such as ctrl+alt+~, Ctrl+Alt+Shift+~ and all other combo’s tried, with or without left-clicking on the Layer Thumbnail result in no action or a simple “Load Selection” selecting entire image.
1) Please let me know how to make a Luminance Selection in PSCC, using keyboard shortcuts and Menu choises if available?Thanks much for any help,

…nevermind guys & gals, i recalled luminance selections only work on Channels then added this to my reference notes, although if anyones suggestions on best use of luminance selection to isolate hilights, midtones and shadows or any range between precisely please let me know.
