How to make glow effect in FCP?

Hi everyone,
I have just started with Final Cut Pro 7. And I want to make a ‘glow effect” in FCP as made in the video link I have posted with this post.The glow effect appears behind the text ‘NDTV” in the above link.
I will be very thanful if somebody can tell me the trick to make this effect in FCP.with kind regards,

I use a free plug-in called “Godrays”. You may also already have a glow effect or two in your FCP effects folders.
