Footage shot at 23.98, some sequences (as compound clips) (ignorantly) edited in 29.97. Can I copy/paste the whole timeline into a new project set at 23.98? Will that do it?
then, DCP creator wants 24fps export. What is that all about, and how to do it: in FCPX1.1 with project setting, as above? Or after export in Compressor? What about the mixed tracks in either scenario?

Generally speaking FCPX will automatically conform anything on a timeline to the frame rate of the project so it should be there already without you having to do anything else.
