Other than Keynote, can anyone please suggest a simple app or plugin to create 3D graphs.

Keynote 09 isn’t giving me the precise control I need.
    Any other options?

Btw- I don’t have After Effects, so can’t use any plugins for that.

    Thanks,

    Wayne

    Hi Dave,

Good point, I suppose I suppose I could do it in Motion, but was hoping to be able to use an elegant plugin or software that could do a 3D
    graphic build similar to Keynote.

    So, still open to suggestions.

    Thanks,

    Wayne

3d in Keynote is all fake, isn’t it?
Motion 4 will give you lights and shadows and planes but it won’t extrude your surfaces. Search for Andy Neil’s Motion site for a tutorial on building cities in Motion, easily adapted to building bars and columns through which you can fly a camera.

Doing charts and graphs in a motion graphics editor like After Effect or Motion is tremendous fun but can make you nuts. Consider how you would do them in Keynote, you’d build or use a template. You want to do the same in Motion.
