How to make a mark on video file in Adobe Premiere?
Hi!
Im kinda a beginner when it comes to Adobe Premiere.
My question is this:
When someone says something in the moviefile, giving direction or whatever, I would like to actually make something grafic pop up in the video.
Like for example. In one frame, I try to point between two mountains.
It can be hard to see, because it is mountains all over the screen.
I would then like to add a “red dot” in the picture so people watching the movie ive made can easily see where I point 😛I guess this was a really dumb way to say something easy…. But im a noob and would love all help on the matter 🙂

the easiest method.
You need to make a Dot.
This can be done in Premiere’s Titler.
From the project Panel right click and create new title.
Use the tools in the titler to make either a dot or circle to you style and linking.
Center it and Close the titler.With you video clip on Video 1 in your sequence,
Add the Title to Video 2 (or Higher).Click the Clip of the Title in the timeline.
Now in the Source viewer you will see a Tab called Effect controls.
Use the motion tools found there to reposition the Dot to your liking.
Opacity controls can be used to make the dot dissolve in and out.
This will get you started.
It can get much more sophisticated from there.
