How to make a concert style spotlight that can be adjusted in Motion 5
Hey guys, I am making a lyric video to a rock song and i want to animate a spotlight to flash on certain beats of the music,i attached an example image of where the spotlights would be and then the “axs TV” would be where the lyrics are. How would this be done in Motion 5? Any ideas?

Well, since Motion doesn’t have any volumetric lighting built in, you’d have to do it with shapes. Probably a few for each spot, using additive blends on them to give them a glow-like appearance
