Posted by Mozwald on October 27, 2006 at 10:55 pm

Im just learning some new things about after effects and was wondering how to do this displayed in the commercial: https://www.trapcode.com/gallery/nailgun_adidas.mov

I know they used trapcode 3d stroke, but is this possible to do with particular? Basically i have a photoshop image that i want to incorporate the lines around and through the image(alpha layer?). I tried putting the .psd image in 3d space and having the emitter(point light) move around the image, but i cant get it to work.

    any suggestions?

    Hi

if your layer has got an alpha channel use the option “Obscuration Layer”,it’s under Visibility.
