  • How to limit.avi file less than 4gig?

Everytime I export my video to .avi, the video comes out between 5gig to 7gig. This is under DV NTSC codec.
What can I do to limit it to 4gig so I can put it into a DVD as data disk?

If you must encode to the DV codec, then the data rate is fixed – the only way to get a smaller clip is to shorten the video. Split the clip in two and render two parts and use two discs, don’t know what else to say

Or use a double layer DVD, so that u can record up to 8Gb worth data…But ur DVD writer should have have a double layer write facility.
