  • How to isolate part of an image to make it like night?

Hi, I’m trying to make the sky in my image look like night however I can’t get it to work. I’ve tried changing the exposure, the colour channels etc but they all change the rest of the image. So how can I just select the sky and modify it? There must be something really simple that I’m missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here is the image:

I would try using the rectangular marquee tool to select the specific portion you want to look like night.
