  • How to import tacking data from AE to 3ds Max

I really don’t do much work with 3d modeling or animation, but I need to composite a helicopter for a shot. How exactly do I do this? I have mocha and AE, but I’m not sure how to move that tracking data over to 3ds max. Any hints or helpful tutorials? Thanks

AE doesn’t have a 3d tracker built in. The AE tracker and Mocha are both just 2d trackers. There is no data to give to 3ds Max.
Your best solution would be to use SynthEyes or some other 3d tracker and bring that data into Max and then use a Max to AE solution.
