  • How to import logo to the clip and display it during the whole clip

    Hello All,

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.

I am doing a project now from various DVDs I’ve already made from a while ago.

Now I will use these them in a commercial things so I want to add a logo to the clips to keep my rights …etc.

    Here is the situation:-

    1) Importing the clip file into Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.

    2) Importing the logo image file I want to use.

    3) Right click the clip file and choose insert.

Now I want to know how to import the image file to the clip so it is being there during the whole clip?

I’ve tried several times to import it but found it displayed seperatey after or before the clip or in the middle while I want to be displayed during the whole movie.

Also it is big when I displayed while I want to resize it to be in the top right of the clip.

    Thanks a lot

    Sorry for poor English.

What you want to do is bring in the logo through a title. If you create a new still title and then go to the title menu at the top you will see that you can import your logo into the title. Import your logo, scale it, change its opacity and place it in the right place, add any drop shaddow etc and the put the new title on the layer above your video and then trim (expand it) to the entire length of the video in your timeline. Hope this helps.

Presuming it’s a solid graphics file with no transparent areas, here’s what you do:

    1) Put the graphic file on a video track above all other content tracks.

    2) Drag the duration out so that the still image is the same running time as your entire sequence.

    3) Click on the graphic file to select it.

    4) In the motion menu in “effects” select scale and reduce it to the size you want it.

    5) Grab your file with your cursor and drag it to its position. Make sure keyframing is not selected – it will then be where you want it and stay there for the duration of your show.

Thanks a lot for your replies both.

Please may I ask for another question here or it is better to start a new topic instead?
