How to import 422 ProRes
I am trying to import ProRes422 (KiPro) files into Vegas 11. Out of a dozen or so files, only a couple will import. The rest give me the same error message saying the files are not a recognized format or they could be corrupt. I also get a message saying it appears Quicktime is not installed on my computer, but I have version 7.7.4 installed. How are some of you able to edit Apple ProRes files? My system specs are: Win 7, 4Ghz(i-7 unlocked), 24Gb Ram, SSD system drive, 4TB RAID 0, Quattro, etc. I have tried using other versions of Vegas Pro from 7 through 12 and all with no avail. I am a very seasoned Vegas user, but I’m stumped. Aside from using FCP, what can I do? HELP:-)
