  How to import 1080p and 720p in same timeline?

  I have 1080p and 720pN footage I need to cut in the same timeline.
  I imported the footage into a 720 timeline.
  I assume this downrez the 1080p to 720- correct?

  Now whenever I make a cut using my razor tool the footage beyond the cut zooms in/blows up. I returns to almost normal size once I make the next cut. (it remains somewhat zoomed in from the camera original)- but the footage to the right of the last cut is always Zoomed in.

  What do I need to set-up to use both 1080p and 720 in same timeline without resize issue?
