how to i get the video effects the same all the way through

Right click on the clip to which you have made the effects to and select copy.

Ctrl-click or shift-click the events to select the events you want to apply the effects to, then finally right mouse click your selection and select ‘paste event attributes’.

You could also add the FX to the Track. Then any event you place on the track with have those FX applied.

If it’s a chain of plugins your going to use alot, you can save it as an effect chain. Just click the effect icon like your going to add another effect, click save as, and this chain and all it parameters will be saved as an effect that you can add just like a single one except they will be in the Filter Packages folder.
