So I really want to make a dramatic scene with a rose in a vase.

I was wondering if you guys had any tips on how to go about modeling the rose petals seeing as how they’re very organic.

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I would start with planes for the petals and subdivide them using hypernurbes subdivision to soften the corners. Then I’d use the magnet tool to model them.
