how to get quicktime plugin to render quicktime
Posted by Bryan Wells on June 23, 2005 at 12:57 amHello
I set up a new computer and went back to my orginal binary installation of Vegas 5. But I cant render Quicktime. Where is the Quicktime plugin for rendering? Apple wants to sell me a quicktime pro but i thought on my older computer, the quicktime I have there was not paid extra for.
Thanks

June 23, 2005 at 2:48 amYou don’t need the “pro” version. You just need to do as Mike said:
Start the installation process. At the screen where you can choose standard or custom (whatever the options are) choose Custom. You will then be presented with a list of additional items that can be installed. Just pick them all (the safest way) specifically making sure the authoring components are chosen.

August 28, 2010 at 10:29 amAssuming you mean Vegas Pro, which version do you have?
There were issues with QuickTime in earlier ones that have been resolved with 9.0e -

Now, which version do you have?
As I said, there were QuickTime issues with earlier versions that did get corrected.
